Words are cheap and pure B.S., what they will do is more DEI hires of government employees and the rebuild will take a decade or more.
What could be a better way you push the poors out?Technically, they want the USA to cease to exist, except in their cushy little Los Angeles nest of pedo scum. This is not what they want. They want this for Texas and Western North Carolina. Certainly not their seaside paradise Hollywood dreamworlds.
If they had been eating bugs, they wouldn’t be homeless! Well, no refunds.

Heh when I lived in Reno doing grad work we did a lot of skiing/boarding and they would have chain/4wd/speed restrictions when the roads were really quite good. Now granted I grew up in ND so my idea of good winter roads is a bit skewed, but I remember of the tire/chain restricts folks telling me once that the only reason they did it 9 out of 10 times was to slow the CA drivers down cause prior to doing it 90% of the accidents and cars in the ditch were CA drivers.Ain't that the truth! And by the Texans who are fleeing the Californians... Nether of whom could drive in our little blizzard.

I got that beat....when I moved to my current AO I'd been here maybe 2 or 3 weeks and we had a "lot of snow." yep, shore wuz...I had about 2" on my grill and 2" on the grass. At 7am the roads....WERE COMPLETELY DRY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Seriously, no H20 in any form. But....they closed down 3/4 of the city - FOR DRY ROADS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Hence, here...a dusting of snow...people freak. Even this time, dry since Saturday around 10am, my neighbors across street stayed inside all weekend!!!Heh when I lived in Reno doing grad work we did a lot of skiing/boarding and they would have chain/4wd/speed restrictions when the roads were really quite good. PA isn't much better, I've never seen drivers so scared to drive in the rain and on average it rains here 80-100 days a year. Half of them won't even go to work if it snows. If there's a forecast of 1/2" of snow, schools closed, people won't go to work, or they will leave before it starts etc.
Civil emergency = wartime rules. Shoot on sight by both official law enforcement and deputized committee of vigilance members (identified by standard hat/shirt/pants combo). Any perp caught committing a 'crime against life' during this period also subject to these rules. Two blasts of rifle or pistol to the chest at pointblank, drag to the side of the road, and keep it moving. Nothing fancy, nothing extraordinary.
My AO had about an inch of slush under 8" of snow. Even the Ram diesel was having fits but road tires so... That corner you reference? Was that on the way to Fayetteville pre bypass. I remember a sharp left coming down the mountain with flashing yellow lights suggesting you re-think life decisions (I never did) and always wondered if a MFer tried and went off right there. This weekends snow...about 4". Roads...not too bad (compared to the legit issues last year with 3" of ice under about 6" of snow) this time. Granted, we have some mountain roads (if you want to call them mountains) where people drive too fast anyway. Funny thing is the sports car crowd drives closer to the actual speed limit than Bubba and his Carolina lift realizing that the "bad turns" they'd encounter could be done at 90 in dry without so much as blinking - save for one downhill off camber left sweeper followed by a decreasing radius off camber right - the uphill side of it is almost like Spa's Eau Rouge without the dip!!! (yeah...it's pretty f'ing fun). Add to that they seem to place the speed cop in really hard to see areas, so a 90 in a 40 would take you to jail.
No, that's my new AO with the mini Eau Rouge. Hahah...I remember that turn you speak of. When I first went to University, "32 people have died over the last 3? years" By the time I left it was 16. But that, IIRC, the sign is at the top of the mountain going back down to the valley and is proceeded by a left hand turn (going towards 'Nam, confirming your analysis) but I think to the side was...well...ARMCO only and "air." Been way too long (30+ since I drove that). Next I go up there (maybe this year) I'm still taking 71.My AO had about an inch of slush under 8" of snow. Preach! I remember the days of clearing Blowout Mountain at the Scott County line and driving to Y City WAY to fast (Think a buck 35 ish in a BMW 525i with a 5-speed) but the area has grown up a lot in 35 years and the thought of a dog/kid/side by side/tractor popping out in the road has tempered my need for speed. The back way in to Heavner/Poteau? Game on!No, that's my new AO with the mini Eau Rouge. Hahah...I remember that turn you speak of. How I didn't crash the car I'll never know. Passing cars....game on..that one long straight strip that going south you could get a small push with a 50 foot decline and I'd suck up 2-3 cars. The 3-lane part... that was a war zone wasn't it?
Looking back...I was an absolute dumb fuck. But, fortunately, while the speeds seemed high then, today I'd not blink as I have MUCH MUCH better skills (and car). I knew it like the of my hand too. I drove 71 from Fort Smith to 270 to Hot Sprigns not long ago and yikes I was RUUUUSTTTTY!!
Never done Mt. Ida to Rover. Maybe once before I could drive. Let's not even talk about Hot Springs to Ola (and especially Fountain Lake to Nimrod Lake) on 7.Preach! no. gut shoot them on sight. then watch them wrestle themselves until the fire gets them.Or first put them right up there in the front lines...the front of the front lines and make them fight the fire...up close an personal with no PPE. If they make it, THEN life in prison. They want to steal from people, even the very wealthy and set fire to people's homes and ruin an entire city (even if they are woefully mismanaged) then they get what they get. There is NO, absolutely NO excuse for looting except that these people are too lazy to get their own shit legitimately. Starting fires...that's another story all together...put murder charges up on their arses and they don't even get the honor to fight these fires...then get the end-of-life button pushed.
Wasn't so much "CA drivers" (longtime Truckee and Tahoe residents know what's what) but rather Bay Area and Sacramento residents that are the fucktards.Heh when I lived in Reno doing grad work we did a lot of skiing/boarding and they would have chain/4wd/speed restrictions when the roads were really quite good. They most definitely do not come from the pacificPretty sure this is their usual fire season. The Santa Anna winds come in off the Pacific and whip things up just nasty. And remember Los Angeles is basically a desert and wouldn’t have a city there if they hadn’t stolen all the water from, well, everywhere.

I think that in the over 35 years that I flew into LAX for business that we only ever landed to the East once.........

Ok.... now I feel bad. For James Woods.
One great dude lost his home.
His niece brought her piggy bank to him to help him rebuild. Says something about his family, doesn't it?
James Woods... the one guy whose home loss I feel bad about... I know.... he can rebuild. But a lifetime of memorabilia and memories are gone. From one of the few folks in Hollywood who kept being cool.

Yep. I read an interview with Woods about it he was very humbly grateful. It sounded like he was already close with his neighbor before all of this. I'm sure they're even closer now.BTW it was apparently his neighbor who saved the house….

I care about the animals, both wild and domestic, and try and block that from my mind.I don't care
actually --that's the new design to prevent looters and meth heads from stealing copper and aluminum
"What should the punishment be for scumbags who dress up as firefighters to loot homes while the occupants are evacuated because of wildfires??"
One behind the ear.
