John Pierce has forgottten more about building rifles than most 'smiths have learned. He built me a .300WM for ELR that is, arguably, the most accurate magnum rifle that I own.

Jon, you did a fantastic job yesterday... we really appreciated having you come out and shoot with us.

What Jon didn't mention is that he pretty much aced the whole course, with first round hits on every stage. This guy knows what he's doing, folks. :)

I've just rejoined the forum after allowing my old screen name (green 788) to get pared off the user list... maybe I'll not be such a stranger for so long this time...

Thanks Dan, Hope to see your Shoot grow.
Saturday I Had a chance to shoot with several young guys getting started in the Sport including a sharp 12 year old young man with a Promising Future, as well as some crusty old Hard holders like the suppressor guys from T&J Tactical, the Master rifle builder Mark Williams owner of Raven Rifles Both from SW Virginia and Chip Bell from May Craft. This was one of those times you can enjoy because of the folks around you.
This is a great way to spend a Saturday if you are in driving distance.

I have owned several Pierce rifles and every one has been a hammer. I also have the luxury of stopping in the shop when ever I am in the area. Matt has worked out nearly all the CNC kinks to operate at top proficiency, recently adding another 4 axis CNC, James is an absolute beast on the lathe, and Jim is running that place like an 1840's plantation owner ;) .

The USA F-Class rifle team recently cleaned up in Arizona, several of them using Pierce rifles.

Congratulations John. Pierce makes damn fine rifles, but its not the arrow only, it's the Indian too.
