Back in BHam!!!
I have a buddy with a new 10FP Savage S/A that desperatly needs a new stock. He was donated a Choate stock that's inletted for a staggard feed style Savage.

Now I haven't had a chance to put hands on the project yet, but would it be possible to open up the bolt holes in the stock in the mill, and maybe bed some sleeves in there to make it work?

If so, does anyone know off hand if the front bolt location can just be moved forward, or do they both need to be outboarded in order to have proper placement?

Thx
