Fixit Sticks Torque Specs Webpage

If anyone has any torque specs that they would like us to add (or modify), please post them in this thread and we will update our Torque Spec page. We are hoping that we can use everyone's knowledge to create an easy place to go and find the appropriate torque specs for your equipment.

Mausingfield action: 20moa base screws 45" lbs per Ted at ARC

MDT ESS / LSS-XL Gen2 / Tac21 Chassis
- Action Screws = 60 in/lbs

MDT LSS / HS3 Chassis
- Action Screws = 65 in/lbs

MDT LSS-22 Chassis
- Actions Screws = 30 in/lb (adjust torque to improve accuracy)

MDT ESS
- Forend Attachment Screws = 30 in/lbs

MDT 20 MOA Scope Base / MDT ESS Tall Scope Base
- Attachment Screws = 25 in/lb

MDT Elite / Premier Scope Rings
- Ring Cap Screws = 18-20 in/lbs
- Ring Base Screws = 25-30 in/lbs

Speaking of torque specs, does anyone have data on how much torque will it take to cause deformation to a barrel? Speaking in reference to set screw gas blocks, .625 and .750 AR15 barrels. Thought I saw data somewhere before?

If you're thinking about bore deformation, just from 30 years of dealing with machinery I'm gonna say that a gas block set screw is incapable of being tightened enough to ever do so.
