I couldnt watch it all, he's repulsive, but he is right in one aspect. In most of the inner cities there are 'Food Deserts' where the only groceries available are 7/11' and such. That makes the price of eating much higher, and the quality and choices much lower. I heard the interview of a black woman who held two jobs to support her family. The only grocery store was a 45 minute each way bus ride. After 2 jobs she just didnt have the energy for the bus ride so they mostly ate expensive, unhealthy, crap.

I dodnt have an answer, but it was a sad story.

Imagine free busses in NYC. This mayor should get charged when the first person is killed in the fights to get on the "free" bus. Old ladies trampled by the ghetto dwellers, knife fights, mayhem.

And why are there "food deserts"? Because the Amish rob them into closure.

I've seen reports of successful food co-op garden projects in cities. I'd rather see investment in these giving people more independence than investment in ways to make people more dependent on .gov

If there are any men left in that piss bucket, someone will put two in his dome before the year is out.

But there aren’t! Just meterosexual New York Nancy boys who live at their psychiatrist’s offices and consume gallons of soy.

Who do you think voted for the little Muzzie socialist?

I wonder if that is because they shoplift everything that is not nailed down, have no idea what a produce section is and loot it every time they have even the slightest urge.

You think Kroger is going to move in there with real-Estate prices in the thousands of $$ per square foot, inaccessible to delivery trucks and being robbed and looted constantly.

Not a chance.

The only places that will run there are super small footprint places run by aspiring immigrants who sell stuff on a high enough margin that they have the robberies and shoplifting built into the price tags.

No one drew a red line around those shitholes…. But no actuary is going to run the numbers and say “Let’s build a Piggly Wiggly here.”

So, fine… try putting in your communal grocery store. It will be looted and burned before you can say “I can’t breathe.” By the very same people demanding a grocery store.

Ever notice they don’t loot the Barnes and Noble or the B Dalton? Just ‘sayin.

Thats not the reason for the problem, at least not in the beginning. Like I mentioned above, it began 50 or so years ago with 'white flight' which took the jobs and money to the burbs. Lack of jobs/work/ opportunities and It went down from there to where it is now. There are almost always more than one reason for a problem/

But its so much easier to jsut shit on the 13%

12 million people in metro New York. On 24 square miles of concrete. You could not grow enough food there for one big high rise. The coop gardens are window dressing and an absolute joke. But they do love to brag on them!

Organic farming: feeding hundreds on land that could feed thousands….

Up until the 1960’s Harlem was a rather thriving (and separate) community. Then came The Great Society and a nice little heroin epidemic…

NY and Chicago and LA and Houston and all the others are a perfect Calhoun Universe 25 experiment… extended from mice to people.

Grocery stores won’t fix it.

And NY is still full of idiot White people who think it is the greatest place in the world, eat out every single night at $150 a head… and make darn sure they get out every weekend to their ski lodges and their Catskills cottages.

I grew up in Heckler village outside of Richmond va. I remember a decent white middish class neighborhood. I remember being able to ride my bike just about anywhere I wanted to.
Then then someone sold their house. The government shut down Fulton bottom projects about maybe 10 miles away by the crow and gave everyone a 1-1/4% interest loans and white flight hit. Went from 100% white to 99.7 black and of the "then" hood rats variety. This was back around 70 or so. My parents had chain link fencing around the front and back yard. So I went from basically care free to being a prisoner of that yard in my free time. Mom flipped out, I was in late elementary school, parents put my brother in a Christian school. We finally moved when I was around 14 15 years old.
Roving packs of 4 or 5 hoodies wondering around the roads and a white kid on a bike don't mix. I have a little different perspective on how racism can be brought on.

Nowhere did I say grocery stores would fix anything.

But, But LBJ did so much for the economy via the drug trade & the MIC. Just think of all the high tech & labor intensive shit insurance company's demand in some A/O's just because of crime. Look at all the progress made in the medical field via drugs, and procedures. Then there was his biggest advancement the FSA (free shit army). Where would we be w/o the FSA sucking up tax money stolen for the working class to buy their votes? When you pay people to be sorry, they will never disappoint you! People have the right to prosper or fail, but the US gov also gave them the right to legally take from my wallet whenever they fail? Why would that be?

Man give credit where credit is do! American politicians always fucking over Most Americans in a way they like it, and are too stupid to see it. Oh I forgot its a Land of the Free & Home of the Brave thing.
What was the saying, tell the same lie long enough and it becomes fact,... or something like that,...
