FSP an issue?

Hey guys, on graveyards for the fifth night in a row and this has got me thinking.

I have an Eotech 551 and am looking at a Daniel defense upper to put it on. I have been leaning very strongly towards the m4v1 with the FSP always there

My concern is if the Eotech 551 will be too low for the post? I was hoping the Eotech will clear the FSP... I'm sure someone has an answer to this. My guess is that it won't be a problem.

I would buy a mount that sets the eotech up 7mm for 1/3 cowitness. This way you can still use the sights, but have your reticle be uncluttered.

I was just hoping it will absolute cowitness
at the post or very close to it and if I feel its blocking too much raise it. Could just go with the m4v5 tho... hah.
