Who knew!

He looks pretty ill there........:(

Or hung over/well rested with a pretty young thing.

I think he died in the early 80's. I would bet this photo would be early 70's. The corvette is not really going to tell us anything. The mustang in the back looks like it could just be an "old car" at the time of the photo. I don't know enough about vans, but that would be the most easy way to tell. I do know that style of vet went out in the late 60's. He could have kept an "old car" as a daily, but I kinda doubt it. At the time the "new" cars are getting faster and faster, and handle better and better. I think he would have gone for the next gen (my fave) with the shark nose. I doubt a big block, too nose heavy, wonder if the 327 was still offered in the early 70's vettes.

If you have a pretty young thing and are well rested, you are doing it wrong…

350 LT1 was. I had a customer with a 72 convertible with a 4spd.

I kept it tuned and drivable for him.

His last movie came out in 1980, "the Hunter". Based on the bounty hunter, Ralph Papa Thorson.

McQueen was diagnosed with cancer shortly after the movie was made.

Here's a few good clips from the movie.

He came to some guru here in Washington state that claimed he could cure cancer thru diet and meditation……..you can guess how that turned out……

Fuck them, they eat chickens. I have caught a few in my old coup with half eaten chickens. They are all dead.
Lots of things eat chickens, I personally don't hold that against them, I got this little ass hole a few years back but did not kill him. Took him to some federal land a few miles from my house (yes I know and don't care) and let him go. Did the same with a skunk and oddly enough he did not explode on me, just a sheet over the cage and all was good.

Now mice, I kill those things every chance I get, I bet they have ruined thousands of pounds of food, I hate those things and starlings. Both of those I will kill if given the chance. Starlings are great with air rifles, low powered air rifles you need to be a little careful with mice, and too powerful it will go through and damage something else in the barn, ask me how I know.

But the "higher" mammals, they get a pass. I don't have chickens anymore they burned down their house a while ago. I will get a setup again after I retire.

We used to catch them. They were really bad when in the cage. Last one we caught, took him about 6 miles from our home in a deep wooded area with a year round creek. Big creek. Well, we carefully got him out of the cage and he rambled off, across the bridge. While walking in a straight line near the edge of the bridge, the stupid thing fell off of the bridge. Comedy like. Just walking and then fell over. Well, he swam to shore, kind a shook himself off and walked away embarrassed like. Brenda and I were having a hard time controlling ourselves from laughing so hard.

Not supposed to kill armadillos, but they sure are hard on the yard. Got one the other evening when walking from the shop to the hosue. Wondered if people might be thinking I shot a deer after hours.

We've done so much with so little for so long we can now do anything with nothing
Marine Motto
I thought it was:
We, the Willing, led by the Unknowing, are doing the Impossible for the Ungrateful. We have done so much, with so little, for so long, we are now qualified to do Anything with Nothing, in no Time at All.

I generally win this one, sadly. Now this was a few years ago and has not been an issue lately.

Yes there is a rifle in that box. The house is roughly 900ft from where the box was left.View attachment 8294529
I think some guy found your new rifle dropped off in a parking lot in New Mexico or someplace…..actually his friend found it.

The odds of him getting the right internet gun site. Amazing!

Linda Evans/Shirley MacLaine ?

Ultimately, he found another quack down in Mexico that basically did nothing for him (other than lighten his wallet).

Don't remember if he died down there or back in LA....

A buddy of mine has two tickets for the 2024 Super Bowl -- box seats plus airfare, accommodations, etc., but he didn't realize when he bought them that this is going to be on the same day as his wedding - so he can't go.

If you're interested and want to go instead of him, it's at St Peter's Church, in New York City, at 5 p.m. Her name's Louise. She's 5'4", about 125 lbs., good cook, and makes $130,000 a year. She will be the one in the white dress . . .
