There are approximately 6 dream cars I want total, 4 of which are classics.
1. 2020 F350 crew can 7.3L
2. 2020 Mustang GT
3. A pony car (1968 GT500/1st Gen Challenger/1978 Trans Am)
4. Muscle car (currently a replica Superbird or Charger Daytona)
5. Hot rod (1934 Ford 5 Window coupe)
6. Kaiser M715
Unfortunately, I've come to realize that the classics are way out of my reach. The base cars themselves are far from cheap but, more importantly, the sheer cost to get them up to the standards I'm used to makes the cars a pipe dream without a massive windfall. None of the classics I could come close to buying come anywhere close to the performance, reliability, and comfort of my V6 SUV, let alone the late model performance cars I've test driven. Getting the old warhorses up to modern capabilities is expensive. The Kaiser might be the only one that is better suited than modern cars for what I want to do with it, but I'd need to pay someone a lot of money to get it where I want it. Gosh dang it.
