No new trucks are coming with crank windows, manual locks, rubber floors etc. Everything is loaded. Trucks are way bigger and way heavier than they used to be, and all the options are partly to blame.
The coves on our side of the lake tend to have fair depth and with little surface vegetation. On the Northeast side, there are very shallow, but long and covered with surface vegetation, that’s were the gators hang out.

Thats nice. We had a similar homestead in Virginia built in 1840. Solid hand hewn 14" oak walls that laid flush against each other, very little chinking needed. It was added onto over the years and you could see each rook different over the years.
