PSA Labor Day sale bought another Dagger FS-S frame and put a Kineti-Tech upper I had on it. This frame is darker, slightly more chocolate colored than the last I had. Poverty Glocks rule!

I did indeed lose a jack russell.
Late wife walking accross the yard at twilight, snake crawled accross her foot(a miracle she wasn't bit). She jumped and squealed, Sunny ran in and attacked the snake.
As you said, there were two seperate bites on her chest. She didn't survive the night.
Had it not been for the kids, i would have got her out of her misery. You couldn't put your hands on her, she would eat you up.

Your story reminded me of a trip.

I was in east Africa on vacation 20 years ago. 48 hours to get to the 1st hotel. We were shattered. There was a path that let to the treetop tent.

I said that I could see and we started walking and not waiting for our escort.

The escort came sprinting along with a flashlight and reminded us not to walk at night.

I had spaced out about the risk of lions and such and snakes on the path.



Same with being in Cancun. They said to stay on paths in the resort. We walked across the grass all the time.

Well not grass but short cut vegetation.

The guys staying below us came home and had a serpent on their floor.

It slithered in and made it under the gap of the door.



I have no love for spiders and snakes where I live. They should remain outdoors...
