No picture but when my son got married, one of my nephews (about 7 years old at the time) went around and downed everyone's champagne after the toast. Everyone had the real stuff and most only took a sip and set the glass down. He did this unknowingly and was dancing like I've never seen before. He'd leave the dance floor and come back 5 minutes later and dance for another 30 minutes. Then his mom caught him. She was, can we say, a little upset.

Got a chance to walk some coastal beaches. To do some beach combing with my middle kid. We spent the afternoon looking for glassballs, struck out though.

We did find 8 tennis balls, 3 golf balls, a salmon troll plug and a pair of tuna boards. Also a pack of Asian condoms.

Mining shovels are cool. Used to work at a job shop that repaired some giant parts. They got a pair of track frames and cable gear box from a Bucyrus 495 (or Cat 7495 same thing). I got to deburr some on them. That place stunk.

I love the big gear, but I know working on them can be a chore.

I had a short contract at a power station in 92, putting in a new road to the flyash dam for cleanout.
While I was there, I was given access to the colliery nextdoor that fed the station to get fill material from the dump their Bucyrus 1570 was building.

Big. Real big, 72 cubic yard bucket, even the power cable that fed it was huge.
It had a crew of 5 or 6 including fitters.
