My rifle needed a small adjustment from GAP. George personally fixed the problem and shipped it back on the same day it was received! You can't get any better than that. Thanks GAP.

A very satisfied customer,

Gil Horsley,

Re: G. A. Precision "The Best"

I've never used GAP before but I'm glad you had a positive experience. Fortunately every sponsor/vendor I've used on the Hide has been outstanding. I wish I could say the same about my cable tv/internet provider and cell phone service provider.

Re: G. A. Precision "The Best"

I too can attest to great service from them. Not just George, but others in the crew as well.

I had 'created a small (anomaly?)' and overnighted it down to George. He fixed it the day it arrived. Then others in the office did their best to get it back up to me. Had some issues at the border (not their fault.... it was the border idiots) to which Tracey especially helped get things straightened out.

Time for them to open their "Northern" branch location.

nudge/nudge-wink/wink-hint/hint.

No shit! Maybe that's the reason I was told that my build was more than likely going past the eighth month (July) track, possibly pushed back till December. I told GAP I didn't mind it, but WTF?

Re: G. A. Precision "The Best"

I have been dealing with Ken over at GAP, and I gotta say, he has been extremely patient with my emails and has taken the time to explain things... Hats off to GAP... My Action is going to be shipped there this week to meet up with my Manners and I cant wait!!!! wooo hooo

Its posts like these that let me know I've made the right choice....

Re: G. A. Precision "The Best"

What was adjustment needed? How many rounds at the time?

GAP has different people working on different "projects" so just because you have a full build doesn't mean your smith is stopping to go put a brake on another barrel.

Having been to GAP numerous times (and going again in a week) I don't think a majority of you understand just how much volume and work they have. They're working from early in the morning until well into the evening and also on the weekends. I know it's frustrating when your build gets pushed back but no one at GAP is just sitting around on their asses.

Re: G. A. Precision "The Best"

Nobody's perfect.

My new GAP had to go back for an "adjustment" for a problem right out of the box. I had it back in a little over a week.

Stuff happens. It's still a nice rifle.

EXACTLY this, living in the area I stop by there all the time and let me tell you they are ALWAYS, as the saying goes, balls deep, or up to their assholes and elbows working hard, every single tooper in there are true professionals, and that also goes with Marty and his crew at Badger that for the time being share a living space

Damn, you sound bitter. My post wasn't intended to put GAP against a wall of lazy asses. There's humor in my post about my build being pushed back, way back. I am well aware of the massive workload they deal with day in and day out. But thanks for taking the time to educate others on this issue.

They are working up to that. Hopefully one day they will be that good.

Re: G. A. Precision "The Best"

GAP took great care of me while I was home on mid-tour leave. I was able to purchase one of their ready to ship Crusaders and was out shooting it in less than a week. Very Satisfied and my next purchase will be another GAP rifle.

Re: G. A. Precision "The Best"

So far it's been 4 weeks to put the multi-cam paint job on the stock of my ready to ship Crusader. I was told it would be maybe two. This is my first GAP experience and I'm starting to get antsy.
