Gave my old 300WM an update.

This was the first custom that I ever had built. Jon Beanland built it for me back in 2013. And it’s an absolute laser.

I swapped the Surefire FA762-SS for an AB raptor, added a Henderson Precision ARCA rail and put a S&B back on it.

It shoots factory FGMM 215 Berger Hybrids at 2850 out of the 22” Obermyer Barrel

This went a different direction than I thought based on the title. I know that you can re-barrel a .300 WM for 7 PRC. But just as well. .300 WM has served well from the GWOT to big horned sheep. Bravo.

Can you just put on a bottom piece handguard instead of the full wrap you have?

Actually, going by the information from Hornady. On their website they mention that you can barrel swap on your 7 mm Rem Mag or your .300 Win Mag.

I guess I'll play too. Started out life as Savage Elite Precision 30". Cut barrel to 23.5 with brake 25.5 OAL. Dropped into MDT XRS with wood TIMBR kit.

Haven’t seen anything that will work on the XLR. I have a manners stock with surgeon bottom metal that will match up nicely.
