I was very mad I missed out on the SPR barrels on Geissele's website. @Bigjake83 did some cool stuff with them.

So I called White Oak and Marylee did right by me.

Geissel cut rifle barrel blank
18" SPR profile with half fluting spun by White Oak Armorment. 1-8 tw and mid gas.

Barrel is beautiful. The workmanship is amazing. I was worried about white oak under new ownership but this looks amazing.

I used a Thouroghbred upper, Mk4 rail, and superlative gas block.

Optic is Leupold 3-18 in a badger mount
Lower is a m4e1 with a curved TT diamond and JP captured buffer. Fab defense stock and kungfu grip.

White oak believes that break in should be enough rounds to zero , or about 25 rounds, a good cleaning, and done.

I really planned to do that, but it was going so well I kind of lost track.

Im really impressed.

Groups and shooting reports to follow

Short range report.

First 100 rounds down the tube. Figured out zero'ing the mk5 pretty quickly.

Had a few of these targets, they would look really good and then I would get a flyer. Probably more me than the barrel

Things stayed just under 1 moa for the most part for five round strings.

But every now there would be some flashes of genius! These were shot almost rapid fire and printed almost one on top of the other!

White oak is for sure doing their thing with this barrel! Zero missfires and zero ftf. Feed ramps are smoother than a mirror.

She cleaned up really well and I'm looking forward to taking her back out this week to start getting some accurate data.

Big thanks to MaryLee and has husband and the new team.

Great looking build and shooting, thanks for sharing! Also good to hear white oak didn't crap out after the all the change recently with the move, etc..

I'll give them a hard look for my next barrel. Those G$ cut rifled barrels are a damn good deal for < $500.

I always lurk in your build threads so that means a lot. I have an 18" and a 20" G$ / WOA barrel right now and they are both amazing.

I managed to hit 200 ish rounds today and the results were promising:

Seeing some excellent stacking, even with factory pmc 77gr OTMs rounds.

Sometimes it felt like they were landing right on top of each other.

I'm still getting the flyers but everything is keeping pretty tight. Even when my trigger jerk send them flying off, my groups are still staying pretty tight.

But as I got into the higher round count my groups started to open up, so I called it a day and took her home to clean the barrel.

I'll be back out with her on Friday and I expect that laser accuracy to kick back in!

Stay safe out there.

Big thanks to MaryLee and the rest of the WOA family for making me something special.
