Suppressors Gem tech 45 on 16.5 inch 357 rifle?

Can I safely run my gm-45 on my 357 mag lever rifle? I called gemtech and there tech support sucks and never called back giving me any answers.

I’ve ran SICO 45 cans on 10mm pistols, would think that in a 16.5” rifle the pressures would be less.

Gemtech finally called back and said no with the gm-45 but the gm-9 can be used

Probably a dumb question but assuming the barrel is threaded correctly why wouldn’t a .45 cal can work on a .357? Is it b/c increased pressure due to higher vel 9mm/357 for this particular can? Rugged sells a 9mm end cap for my Obsidian45, so just wondering....

I ordered the direct thread for my gm-9 so maybe this weekend I’ll go pick up the rifle.
