So, the compressed 'liquid natural gas' is very cold when it 'boils'. So they should simply store it in double-walled long tubes. This way, not unlike a 'liquid oxygen tank' it is the constant (yet controlled) boil-off that greatly reduces the temperature which prevents the liquid from wanting to boil off, because it is so cold. Simple physics, right?
They could just (love those words) put wings on said tube, and put a cockpit in front. That way, they could literally 'fly' the unit over to Europe. Because the 'vented' gas that is/was used to keep the liquid cold, is now perfect and prime for fuel for the turbines. They could just adjust/tweak the nozzles for the fuel to run Natural Gas instead of JP2 or whatever flavour of the week they're on.
It's easy, really. Almost a self-solving problem. And, there are plenty of C5-A Galaxy's and whatnot that can easily be converted over. This procedure is almost a perfect scenario. What could possibly go wrong.
