Finally had a good chance to get out and shoot with some decent weather. I am pretty new to long range shooting. This was my second chance to get some trigger time on my new Gap-10. It is the .308 version with a 24" barrel. My scope is a new to me Nightforce Nxs Npr1 reticle. I started off shooting at 100yds. I finally found some ammo for a reasonable price so i bought 500rds. It is xm118LR. It performed well. I was able to get some good groups. I was also able to hit a paper plate with relative ease at 330yds. Thats as far as this range goes. I actually hit dead center at that distance but refused to believe it so the rest of the shots were spread around the plate making sure it was really happening. Next time i will focus and see how it groups at that distance. Here are some pics.
Warm up from seated off bipod.
Best groups100yds from prone position off bipod.
Weird ruler i know.
Five shots 330yds bullseye was the first shot. Others were pretty quick I got to excited and refused to accept the first shot was where it was.
