Suppressors Glock 36 failure to feed

I am having an issue with my carry gun failing to feed. It is a Glock 36 and is hanging up with Winchester Ranger 230 sxt and Federal Hydra shock 230 ammo. The rounds are hanging on the bottom of the feed ramp. I don't really want to alter the feed ramp, but it is either that or ditch it and go back to the Glock 30. Is anyone else having this issue? If so, what did you do to fix it?

My G19 is doing this as well with 147gr. Winchester PDX1 out of G17 mags but is fine with G19 mags. How do you change the feed ramp angle?

Most likely a good polishing job on the feed ramp of the barrel will do the trick...

This has happened to me and was a easy fix.

Probably not the best example, but you'll get the idea.

I don't think that polishing it will help since the feed ramp is actually cutting into the bullit. I am going to call Glock.

Im sorry but I wouldnt be carrying something taht didnt feed properly. I run a minimum of 500 rounds of the ammo that I am going tio carry thru the gun that I am going to use it in and it MUST function flawlessly for those 500 rounds. If I have a problem at 498.... start over.

Have you tried a few different mags to make sure its an ammo issue?

I had the same issued where the spent case would extract but the live round would get hung up on the feed ramp.

I solved it with a wolff extra power (23 lb) spring and guide rod. I purchased both from Midway USA.

23 lbs may be too much but you can trim to function. My Glock is now 100% reliable.

I did try several different Glock mags. I spoke to Glock today and they are sending me a new recoil spring. If that doesn't work I will go the Wolff route. Thanks for the help.

I have seen this happen, I think the new spring will help. Give it a good workout before you carry it for protection. Also be certain you are not limp wristing it, my wife has trouble with that on her glock.

When my 36 started doing that a change of the mag springs fixed it.

Never had a problem with my g36 yet, Its my carry gun as well.

I switched to Corbons Powerball ammunition, never had a problem since.

I might change my ammo as well. Just sucks because I have so much of the Ranger SXT.

+ 1 on limp wristing it, bet 90% of all pistol malfunctions are shooter induced
