I'm in the market for another Glock, and would like to take advantage of their Salute to Veterans program. Unfortunately, there isn't a Blue Label dealer anywhere remotely close to me. Is there anyway I can still make a purchase w/o driving 200 miles, and have it shipped to my local dealer for transfer?

I got one from GT Distributors, shipped to a local FFL. Many online places, such as Mile High, have the Blue Label program and should be able to ship it to you providing proper credentials.

Thank you. Apparently I got some bad info, one local dealer led me to believe that you had to physically pick it up from a Blue Label dealer. Thanks for setting me straight!

I think that used be true, but closer to 10 years ago they opened up the Blue Label program to be more accessible, for basically the reasons you point out, that there are only so many of them.

No problem, just remember you may be limited to two purchases a year on the program. The discount actually brings Glocks into competitive pricing with other handguns. I picked up my 34mos and a 43 off the program.

Before you buy (unless committed to Glocks), check out a CZ P10. You may just thank me later if you like a crisp factory trigger with your striker fired gun.

Yeah, I think on the STV program it is just one, and that's fine. For some reason I want a G40, after my EAA 10mm. Mile High couldn't help me since it's a state by state thing, but I did find a dealer a little closer that can help me out.
