Specifically a TA33, or TA11. I don't really have alot of time this time of year to shop around, who do you guys go to for Trijicon stuff? It's for a 5.56 A3 build. Thanks guys.

My buddy's used Liberty Optics and got great deals. I'm a firearms instructor and I got a pretty good discount directly from Trijicon and liberty optics was within $150 of what I paid.

I got the TA11 and I love it!

Whatever you do, get the Ta33.

Why the TA33 specifically? Curious, I have one in 5.56 (and a similar one in .300BLK) and the TA01. The TA33 has less FOV and not sure about other reticles for it, but the one I have with the stadia is for 55gr .223 (forget the barrel length, wanna say they use 16"?). I looked at Trijicon's site and I didn't see mine on there (it says 55gr. .223 under the reticle in the scope). It weighs less but that's about it.

Interestingly though, all three different reticles have slightly different BDC's. Listed as .223 69gr., .223 62gr. and 5.56 62gr. And of course my "oddball" that isn't listed at .223 55gr. I didn't know that, I did know the TA01 was for 62gr. 5.56 14.5"bbl though. Difference can be a few MOA.

TA11 has a greater FOV and just like the TA33 each reticle is calibrated slightly different. So I'd try to get the one that suits what I plan on using best.

I like 'em both but I still prefer the 4x. I really want one of those 2x and/or 1.6x for a reflex sight on an SBR. Wish they'd make a 6.5G model but the 7.62 is pretty close.

As for where to get it, there's only a couple places I go anymore. I'll take heat but I don't give a shit because I basically get 'em buy one, get one free every time: buy here or on Ebay! Seriously. I stopped buying 'em new when I got one on Ebay for $600 that was like NIB, tritium was only a couple years old, came with a nice QD mount and the aluminum thread in ARD. The second one I bought on there for same price came with some crap in the reticle and a smudge on it too (believe it or not, the seller actually sent it in to Trijicon prior to selling it; they did an inspection and actually screwed it up there). Anyway, sent it back, got it back in a week or so and it's just like new. For $600. Less than half MSRP without the extras. If you're a vet they'll expedite the process same as military. They also covered the shipping, even after I told 'em where I got it. They simply stand behind their product.

So I hope that can save you some bucks. Make sure you check the sticker on the case it comes in, usually the seller will take a picture of it and it'll tell you how old it is, type reticle, etc. Most quality mfg.'s will warranty their optics and pretty much all other gear too. Junk dealers won't regardless, they'll give you the hardest time, that's my experience.

I’ve seen plenty in the EE on Arfcom in the 600-700 range, when I was looking at buying one I could not find a TA11H in the EE . No sooner then mine arrived I started to see them and now there are two from the same seller that are in like new condition for $675.
