For the good, we were hitting targets with the 223 and ball ammo out to 875 yards very consistently. My 308 Tikka was deadly out to 875 and pretty consistant out to 1300 even with light wind. The 338 Savage was banging steel at a mile up until the end where the wind was about 35 MPH.

For the Bad. Just as I was zeroing in on the 1300-yard target with the Tikka 308 all four screws on the EGW rail sheered off! I called EGW and they said it must be improper installation. I told them I have over 1K rounds down the tube and never lost zero? Anyhow they are sending me out new screws and only charging me for shipping. Gee thanks! In the mean time I will have to send the rifle out to remove the one screw that sheered off below the surface. Here is a pic or two. Otherwise we had a great time shooting.
