i bought a cz 452 today. it came with 11mm 1 inch rings so i would like to use them. problem is i cant seam to find a 1 inch scope to fit my needs.

id like

4-12ish zoom
external turrets or atleast finger turrets under the cap
moa
repeatable adjustments (should have been first)
400ish bucks

im using this rifle as a trainer for a rifle i have a nf 5.5-22 with npr1 recticle. id like to find a recticle that is close to the npr1 but i believe thats a lost cause.

wha do you folks think

i may just bite the bullet and pay 70 bucks for new rings and get wotac

Re: good one inch scope

how far out do the hold overs get you? i have 2 nikon buckmasters 6-18 scopes with mil recticles. but the repeatability is a issue with the ones i have. i put it on a rimfire but i could not dial out and return to zero

Re: good one inch scope

Ive got my cz setup with a 50yd zero. and at 14 pwr I hold over about 3 mil(I think) on the reticle with cheap ass remington plinkin ammo. I dont dial anything on this scope, so I cant speak of repeatability.

Another option albeit above your price point is a Zeiss Conquest. The glass is good, it can also be had with target knobs and a Mildot reticle.

Re: good one inch scope

im looking to take this to 250-300 to pratice wind so i think ill have to dial. im guessing it will take 27ish moa to hit 250 but ive never done it with a 22lr ive always used a 22 mag

that scope looks perfect. im about to google it because it doesn't say if its 1" or 30mm. if its one inch ive probably found my scope. but with 5x zoom im guessing 30mm

Or Mueller Tac II:

both look pretty good, has anyone tested the repeatability of these to optics?</div></div>

I have the Tac II (which is really a rebranded Sightron IIb), and it is extremely reliable and repeatable. Of all the scopes I started out with when I first got into shooting, only the TacII/IIb is left. It still runs with my Trijicons and Zeiss in terms of repeatability. I recently box tested mine again after 4 years and it still tracks dead on.

A truly great workhorse and value.

What I have on my 452 also.. great setup. Actually I have 3 of the Bushnell 3200 10X Tacticals on various rimfire and centerfire rifles. Great optic for the $$

vette, Those who have ordered a Nitrex and responded on Optics forums about it have been impressed with its optics and features. Especially considering its "pretty reasonable" price. Do us a favor and post your opinion of the Nitrex after you receive it.

By the way, the TR1s and TR2s Nitrex are 1" tubes.
