Grayboe warranty. Any experience?

    I recently bought a Grayboe Ridgeback stock for my 223 ackley trainer. Got the barreled action installed and scope mounted and went to work. Fired less than 75 rounds with it and last night I noticed the stock is cracked near the bolt handle. I took it apart and snapped the pics below. Crack is all the way through. I can put pressure on it and it will nearly break in half. I’ve got an email into Grayboe but wondered if anyone had any experience dealing with them.
    Edit to add. It wasn’t there when I installed so it’s not shipping damage I’m quite certain.

    If they can prove it wasn’t neglected aka dropping rifle or doing something that would cause that then they should warranty it in my opinion, but I have yet to hear of anyone using there warranty i have personally owned one stock for a 300 win mag and my buddy has one on his 300 win mag and they are not the most sturdy of stocks by no means, both of us had to glass bed the stocks to get them to shoot any kind of a group at 100 yards but after bed Job they shoot pretty damn good.
     
    Update- Grayboe replied to my email today. They are going to replace the stock and already sent me a return label. So far so good! I’ll update further as to turnaround time for the replacement.
     
    Update- received my replacement stock today. Grayboe had the dealer I purchased from send me one from their stock to speed up the process. Just a little over 3 weeks from the time I shipped to receive the replacement. Grayboe comms were good. They replied to emails within a day. I’ll admit, I’m impatient but overall the process was painless.
