Love to see this come to fruition, but sadly...

Next poster give it to them.

Wish Coos County in Oregon could vote on this. I know it won't happen but maybe it will wake up people in the Willamette valley to how the rest of the state views their antics. Most likely, they just don't care.

Hey don't forget eastern WA too! Just like Oregon, eastern WA aligns very much with Idaho on most things. It's the dumb bastards by Puget Sound that ruin an entire state with their retarded leftist ideals.
Snohomish, King, and Pierce counties maybe Whatcom as well but don’t lump us all in there……

<------ Native of Coos County. Hell, I'd be happy if it even went with the southern counties into the state of Jefferson. Unfortunately I don't ever see Salem letting the Eastern side go and it damn sure wont let the Coast side split due to tourism revenue. (logging and fishing went away a long time ago.) The Western side (coasties) are a breed all their own and don't really have anyplace to go, even if it is a pipe dream.

I lived in Lewiston ID in the late 90's and remember when Washington residents were voting on a state wide bond measure to replace the Kingdome in Seattle. People in Eastern Washington were furious they would be taxed on something that would be of zero benefit to them.

Unfortunate when the west side of a state controls, due to population numbers, what happens in the rest of the state.

Yes, let eastern WA & OR join ID. Then in a few years ID, MT, WY, & the Dakotas can form some pact to secede a few years after that. We can come up with some liberty-minded name. Something really bold, like Liberia or something

I live in north/central Idaho and those bunch of blue retards in Boise valley are trying to kill our state. I’m all for the greater Idaho movement. Be nice to get some conservative support down around the Boise area. Sadly I don’t have a lot of faith that it will go anywhere, but I sure hope for residents of eastern Oregon it does happen. Has to really suck to be totally controlled by one area of the state that refuses to listen to the people.

My wife and I have wanted to move from TN to ID/WY/MT for years since we love the mountains but I'm scared to see where they're headed in a few years.

At least the folks moving to TN are mostly all political refugees from leftist hellholes - for the most part they want to keep TN how it is.

Of course the Nashville crowd has a bunch of blue haired fags, but even that city is still relatively conservative.

Kinda how it is here in Idaho. There’s too many liberals in Boise for sure, but I think the biggest majority of people coming in to the state as a whole are trying to get out of commifornia.

... My only hope is that the Great Orange Man will help wipe the slate clean and start over. Or of course a civil war.
Yup, similar hope.

Civil war? Hope not, however what will be will be. Horrific beyond pale along with Balkanization, more than likely.

Could perhaps end up with a "State of Jefferson" within the country of Greater Idaho, so there's that...The rest of the world would love to see the US broken up.

Exactly. Civil war never ends well. Plenty of people that would likely invade if we get that divided.

No need to invade, just "offer support" (to any & all sides) & then hoover up all resources after reconstructions. Any legitimate invasion(s), even blue hats, would likely unite Americans (even the F'n communists) against the interlopers.

One would think so.
However, a "conservative" Kalifornian is an extreme liberal fuck in most of Idaho.

On a different thread, I lamented how the Lewiston, ID rifle range, in it's location for something like a century, out on Gun Club Road had to shut down because some entitled fucker from out of state bought the wheat fields on top of the ravine used as a bullet trap, sub-divided and sold lots for more of the entitled fucks to buy. Those entitled fucks are politically active and arranged to have the range shut down because, you know, noise.

Even the so-called conservatives moving in have no clue as to why the liberal shit hole they escaped is the liberal shit hole it is. They vote for more government regulations and get them.

do you know why they haven’t?

AFAIK Greater Idaho consideration is primarily Cascade Range & Eastwards. Coos County is coastal, so perhaps weren't considered for inviting into Greater Idaho.

I have no real info tho, just thinking aloud.

Edit, adding: Coos County would be within the State of Jefferson, so there's that. Along with unicorns & fairy dust...

Democrats started a civil war in the 1860's because they wanted to keep their slaves, oddly their former slaves still vote as Massa commands them. They will no doubt start another war if their tax base balks and tries to assert themselves.

Socialism is a religion based on hate, envy, greed and spite. It will not allow people to be free and happy.

Sorry to smack you down there but in my opinion, and trust me there's plenty of otherwise qualified opinions, but the South didn't recede (or at least attempt to) solely because they wanted to keep their slaves and threw a hissy fit. Remember the Emancipation Proclamation which actually freed slaves (in the Confederate States at least) didn't come to be until 1863 after the horrific Battle of Antietam/Sharpsburg in 1862 as the country was grappling with previously unseen causalities inflicted on both sides of the conflict during a single day and garnering tremendous media coverage.

No sir- lots of folks would point to the election of 1860 and the southern states having their 'proverbial' fill of not feeling like they were being represented in the elections and seemed to agree that if the federal government wouldn't respect their state's rights and provide proper representation then they were 'opting' out of this Great American Experiment. Of course there's a whole lot that occurred 10-20 years leading up to it but all that to say- while they wanted to keep their slaves as their economy was dependent on them at the time- they likely started their fight due to states's rights more than just slavery. Going back to the Emancipation Proclamation- remember that was in 1863 and only encompassed the 'then' Confederate states, and seeing that they were at a time of war- Lincoln didn't exactly have much 'pull' with the regions his executive order was directed to up until Gen Sherman did his "thing" marching south afterwards. Northern/Union slaves- whelp they were still shit out of luck even in 1863.

You can get to the ocean while staying in America here in washington
1) Take Highway 20 from Montana to Coupeville wa. Take Coupeville ferry to port Townsend drive to ocean from there, you will be in republican county’s the whole way

You fuckers take northern California and leave out lincoln county Washington? There's no place more American than lincoln county they literally hate constitution violators.

That would be sweeeet!

IIRC there's a location in that area that was surveyed for a deep water port. If so, that would give Greater Idaho such an option. Along with Unicorns & fairy dust...
Coos Bay in Coos County is a deep water port. It was the largest lumber exporting port in the US back in the mid 1900's. I have worked on the US Army Corps of Engineer dredges (namely the Yaquina) back in the 90's that kept the port/channel open. As I understand it the rail system that used to support the port is in severe disrepair.

That's what I was thinking of, thanks!

Just what Greater Idaho (or State of Jefferson) would need. Then we could export/import anything and bypass all the deuchnozzles up Portland/Seattle & down Commieforni as well.

That LNG pipeline & terminal too. Mayhaps a "new" State could "make" that happen. Google - foo notes that proposal ended 2 years ago. That'd be great, drill baby drill! Even it was Canadian LNG, it's the premise of fuel export & industry.
