New guy here from a bit north of Orlando. Looking to get into some entry level precision shooting. Looking at options in .308 or 6.5 Creedmoor.

Old hand with pistols and AR pattern carbines, but the scoped bolt gun hung is new to me. There is a lot to learn

I am not sure if I can make it Saturday. I’ll get back to you in the next couple days.

I am leaning 6.5, and looking at a Tikka or perhaps Bergara B14 HMR. Or maybe something else. So many options.

A Tikka, Bergara or even Ruger RPR is a great way to into it without breaking the bank. Just make sure that you save some $$ for a decent scope, or the experience can sour.
