What about the people that haven’t turned 18/21?If you haven’t bought that box by now you’re living under a rock…
Any state that provides a hunting license has a good indication on who owns guns
Wrong, full of shit like usual .Not if it's in airplane made unless you make a call.
Not everyone buys every gun from a store. You might have heard about private purchases with cash or private trades.I've had to fill out a form for every firearm I've purchased from a store here in GA for decades, I don't see what the paranoia is all about.

In order for private party purchases to be legal you have to know that the purchaser can legally own a firearm. If I'm looking for an EDC, a defensive weapon, or any firearm for that matter I want there to be no doubt it was a legal purchase.
Pretty close. In order for private party purchases to be legal you have to know that the purchaser can legally own a firearm.
If you don't know the person how do you know you aren't purchasing a stolen firearm?Pretty close.
ATF P 5300.21: Best Practices: Transfers of Firearms by Private Sellers
An unlicensed individual may transfer a firearm to another unlicensed individual residing in the same State, provided that he or she has no reason to believe the buyer is prohibited by law from possessing firearms.
I just assumed as soon as I started jumping through NFA hoops that I'm on a list that's easily accessible by people wanting to kick down my door and shoot my dogs. Joining here pretty much solidified my belief that it was true. so to those pissed about this...If you aren't already on a bunch of lists you are a worthless piece of shit.
I saw that as well, they have a good point. As mentioned, they already do this for human trafficking, money laundering and other illegal activities. Purchasing a gun (legally) is still a legal activity, but this push for the credit card activity is more for future laws. What if they pass a law that says you cannot purchase more than 200 rounds of ammo in a given year, this would give them "suspicious activity" when they see you went to any of the numerous online ammo stores and made purchases, you might not have even purchased ammo but it is "suspicious" none the less and cause for them to send the gestapo and harass you at the least. This is a good read on the topic - how we got here and where we are likely going:
New "gun store" code is for Suspicious Activity Reports
There is a new "merchant category code" specifically for gun stores. This isn't about a gun registry, it's about Suspicious Transaction Reports.www.guntab.com
Doubtful, this why .gov is interested in BC, they can shutdown purchases directly, etc...This kind of BS is exactly what makes Bitcoin attractive. Untraceable & Completely out of their control. If the Clown Show keeps current pace Cripto will keep grabbing market share.

Supossedly, Visa caved, because of the kiddy porn accusations?Visa did push back:
In a letter obtained by CBS News, sent by Visa on Wednesday in response to congressional Democrats who supported the plan, the company said, “We believe that asking payment networks to serve as a moral authority by deciding which legal goods can or cannot be purchased sets a dangerous precedent.”
Visa wrote, “We understood Amalgamated Bank’s request to be justified, at least in part, by an interest in blocking transactions that would fall under such a new category, and Visa’s rules expressly prohibit blocking of legal transactions under an MCC.”…
