That is the same thing as center and 10 o'clock if you click the scope up and left a tad.

Re: l

Excellent information on this thread. I'm having a similar issue with a M1a I just got rebedded. Had to remount base and rings. I shoot from a Backpack a NF rear bag.

Is there a reason the groups are at 10 o'clock?

A center fire rifle with a right hand twist barrel will string shots between center and 10 o'clock from inconsistent pressure on the rifle during the recoil impulse.

Conversely, a 4 o'clock dispersion generally comes from too aggressive of a right hand during trigger execution.

Combine the random application of the two and you often see groups strung from 10 to 4.

On the other hand, true "two grouping" is normally caused by bedding issues, if the shooter error has been minimized/removed from the equation. I do not consider a Lead Sled the source of automatic removal of the shooter error from the equation.

Re: l

Also check parallax. If it is not set near perfect or your cheek weld is in 2 places an incorrect parallax setting will cause 2 different POI.

Well, at least for my old crippled ass it does!

Edit...I should clarify that parallax 'can' be a big issue in certain scopes, but not all. Higher the power the greater the chance of it affecting a group on certain scopes. I had a couple of Sightron's several years back (a 4x16 and 6x24) both of which it was near impossible to get all parallax out. Adjustment was so critical that moving objective a few thousandths nearly eliminated or created it. Other certain brands and or models weren't as touch/critical. Up to 10X it isn't as big a deal as over, especially twice.
