I am in the need of having an action bedded into a manners stock. I know this is something that is easily done in the garage, but this is my first experience with having a nicer precision rifle. With that said, I would love some recommendations of where I can take it to have it done. I am in Celina, 30 miles north of Dallas. If there are any members in the area that like cold beer and wouldn't mind helping to show me the ropes, I wouldn't mind tackling with an experienced eye watching over. I would supply plenty of Coors Lite and witty banter.

I'd suggest alamo precision. I'd stay far away from Dareing arms in Denton. Don't know much about S&S but haven't heard great things.
S&S builds GTG rifles in my experiences dealing with them. He is probably your closest smith that I know of. Mikael, current owner/smith might let you hang out and watch him do the bedding. He has worked on several LE department rifles in the area and is good guy to talk with. He is an avid shooter and goes to area comps so sometimes he’s out of town and you need to call a couple of times.
You could try this guy and see if he still has time available.
