Sidearms & Scatterguns Handguns...show 'em

Just got my "second" first Walther. Saw a little Walther P22Q tactical and grabbed it. Within 20 rounds I knew something was wrong aka it no go bang DA so it went back to the mothership for some attention (Could have hand delievered it! Only 3 hours down the road...). Got it, well one back, with some bright red paper work about a different serial number being issued (so it was a dud). This one works fine and is probably with quietest I own with a Mask strapped to it! Hell, it will almost run CCI quiet a'la goes bang, ejects the case, but won't quite strip a round off the mag. Anyways, glad it works and its a cute little plinker.

......now we're dragging out the 110 year old Browning designs....both gunsmith houses in Berryville, AR. The cone barrels are some of the best pistols ever IMO. Talon (government size), Talon II (commander size).View attachment 8044714View attachment 8044715
Nighthawks with WC grip panels? Weird... but cool! BTW, you need a Guncrafter Industries 1911 (Something about an Arkie 1911 trifecta? 🤷‍♂️ ) in the mix! ;) About 25 minutes south of Berryville.

^^^^^Not that I don't have Nighthawk panels...aluminum, wood, thick, thin etc. not enough bandwidth to show them all.
The aluminum ones look nice, way to slippery to shoot when installed. Gatorbacks sound grippy, but not.

...just like the functionality design of the Wilson recoil Vector better.

Gotcha! I like the Wilson design as well. My only Nighthawk with "regular" grip panels is the Agent 2 and it has the "honeycomb" rail scale panels.

Nothing too fancy here - just a few EDCs that I cycle through, a couple of fun guns, and a scary assault pistol that shoots 30 magazine clip in half a second.

Growing up on Glocks, most time spent on pistols was either G19 or G34 w/ TTI internals, but recently got back into shooting my P226 Elite. Always struggled with the double action pull, the running joke was the first shot is a nut shot :ROFLMAO: after changing out the rosewood grips to the slim G10 grips - problem solved. I really need to add a 1911 or revolver to the collection though.

What’s the point of buying it then vs building it?
Took this gun in on a trade and want something that is "mine". I probably would have just bought a Staccato or something else to be honest. So this is going to be a project for me this year. Seems that I like building guns and then selling them lol.

My new main squeeze, Walther PDP Gen 2, 4 inch Compact. Running a Surefire X300B Ultra, Night Fision irons, and an Aimpoint ACRO P2 on a FCD plate. I can't go back to another dot after using the ACRO. Easily can be concealed for carry, and for me it just 'points' so much easier than the RMR.
