I got a day off of work- I can put whatever thoughts I have towards the holiday aside and be thankful for that much.
To be fair, I don't (and suspect most don't either for that matter) do anything special as part of a family tradition for 19 JUN. Nor do I do anything special/unique for MLK day, Washington's Birthday, Labor Day, or Columbus Day. But I'll take every paid day off from work that I can get.
