Heart Procedure for a Good Friend

Ladies,
On 2 March, a good friend and one of our fellow shooters will go under the knife for a heart procedure to fix an uneven heart beat. I just want to insure that there is a world of support and prayers. He's a bit older than me, rough around the edges as most of us are, and has always been there for me. I have very few men I can call friend. Basically a fist full and that's about it.

Prayers sent nightly to make sure The Man Upstairs takes good care of my Friend

Re: Heart Procedure for a Good Friend

I take my few friends very seriously since I only have a handful. Few and far between, and all our thoughts and prayers will make this an easy thing for a guy who really has earned a respite from the daily grind. Some have fought in one war, others maybe a another, but it is rare the man who has fought in every action from Viet Nam to Panama and Desert Storm.

Mahalo nui loa for 3 wars. Tell your friend to hold hard and aim center. He'll be alright, pump plumbing ain't the voodoo it once was (seems like only last week replacing valves was science fiction).

I'll smoke one of yours and raise a toast tonight to all those us sailors subscribe to.

Cheers,

Doc

Consider it done. I know how that is to have very few you can call friend. Often they mean more than those that are suposed to be family.
