Good morning Sniper's Hide!
I stumbled across the site the other day when I was researching nvg's. Came for the info on that, stayed for the wealth of knowledge that I have just barely dipped my toe into reading about. Also, there is some really hilarious stuff on here, helped to keep me awake a few early mornings when I was fighting it.
A little about me, in case anyone cares or doesn't. Been in the Army since 2005. Started as a grunt, loved it. Got offered a different path, went because the green looked like it might be greener. Wasn't really, but oh well. Pretty well versed in pistols, carbines, shotguns and machine guns. Less so in precision rifles, so I'm soaking up knowledge. I don't have anyone around who is likely to become a shooting partner, and I don't know of any ranges past 200 yards in my area of coastal Maine.
I've got a wife and 3 sons, 5,2 and 6 months. Feel free to ask if you want to know anything else.
