Trying to get everything in order for a upper build. I have found some complete uppers but having a hmmm moment on building one to nest a YHM 7.62 suppressor.
Im looking to have the shortest over all length without having to make the rifle a SBR. The phantom is 8.5" long and 1.625" OD the QD mount adds 2.4". So for a minimum of 16" it looks like a 13.6" barrel is the shortest I can go. Im just trying to make sense of this all and think out loud. Even with a rifle length hand guard it will not cover much of the suppressor.
Does anyone have pictures of a setup like I am thinking about?
