Hi everyone, Im new here and fairly new to long range rifles/ scopes.

I acquired two of these scopes and am trying to find out some info on them. Does anyone use them? are they a decent scope?
I am looking into setting up either a 300 RUM or 300 Weatherby and hoped to use one of these scopes on it for now.
Any info would be a big help, thanks in advance.

Are those the 1 inch scopes with the duplex reticle or the tacticals? Either way weaver makes a good quality scope and the glass is great for the price. The only drawback to the super slams I believe is the lack of internal travel, off the top of my head I think its something like 30-40 moa. Outside of that barring a lemon they track true, hold zero and the glass is clear, bright and sharp. Now if only they would hurry up and release their new tactical I'd be a happy man. I need more patience.

If you goto their website you can get the info. Yes, weaver makes a good scope for the money. They tend to be pretty darn rugged. They will be just fine on those two rifles.

These scopes have the EBX retical.
I would like to pretend I am more knoledgable on the subject and that I know what MOA means, but I dont.

Is that the amount of adjustment? The top turret has 64 clicks per rotation and has just over 6 full rotations top to bottom.
Can I use the turret on the scope to dial in for exact yardage or will I be stuck with using the reticals for hold over?
If I can use the turret to dial in exact yardage, roughly what distance would i be able to dial in to with say a 300 RUM?

Sorry for all the questions.
