Greetings all. I have a question for those of you that may be more familiar with the Spartan Blades knife makers. I absolutely love everything about their Ares knife, but am having a somewhat rough time talking myself into dropping that much coin into a knife. In all honesty, it probably won't get used that much. So I guess it would be more for collection purposes. Although I may toss it into my B.O.B. please let me know what you think.

their knives are amazing and worth every penny, i wouldn't hesitate but i'm a knife whore too. i love custom blades.

I bought an Ares from Camille over at MOD Armory. When I received my Ares I was blown away. I had been wanting a Spartan for about a year but didnt want to drop all that $ on a knife as I wasnt a big knife guy. I was so impressed I emailed the guys over at Spartan and told them how amazed I was. I wont hesitate to spend $ with them again. I would love to collect the whole line.

So it will be a safe whore ... then why buy it if you never use it ? Not like it is a Custom S&W 29. Sorry, I have 1st production & PRE-production Benchmades. Also have a early BALI-SONG all have been USED. Not abused but used. Even my presentation knife (Al MAR)/ on a plaque has been used. It's a friggin tool ...
my latest kife is a ZT and I promise you it will be USED this hunting season.
IF you are looking for collecting then buy something RARE & 1st Production.
