23,000 new cases a day in Shanghai alone. Of these, 22,000 are asymptomatic and the other 1,000 have mild cold symptoms that go away after a few days with no meds needed.
Omicron is a blessing that may get the shit rolling over there. The more cases and the faster it spreads, the better. And the more the government acts apeshit, the more it will push the hammer swingers in the population to start getting ready to do very dirty and brutal acts. People all over the country are prepping for government shenanigans and organizing community aid groups to look out for seniors and other vulnerable people who may need additional food and help in case of a lockdown. Trust in the CCP is almost nonexistent. This is how opposition organizations start. And given enough time and smoldering, these community aid groups will become militias and paramilitary units.
If and when shit kicks off in the mainland, Hong Kong groups needs to restart their game also. The CCP won't be able to withstand multiple conflagrations like that. There are plenty of illegal guns in able hands in China, along with a virtually inexhaustible supply of bows, arrows and other implements suited for the typical ranges that urban combat involves. It needs a bit of time. First, the idealists need to get their rude awakening, like those people shouting in the buildings in Shanghai. They NEED to learn that their past reliance and trust in the government has utterly failed them, and that the government simply will not address their needs any longer. Once they become stoics, and accept their predicament, the transition to a dirty fighter and killer becomes a lot easier.
