New member, every time I search for info I'd wind up here, so I decided to join! Live down south now, started life as an Army brat, so pretty well traveled. I've been passionate about firearms/shooting/hunting most of my life with 100s of weapons come and gone. My newest toy is a Howa 308 with 16" heavy threaded barrel. Fresh slate! Looking forward to the sharing of knowledge!

Here out in the middle of nowhere west Coffee Co.
Used to hunt the management area up there. Game warden broke me of that, lol.
I went in early one morning someplace new, climbed a tree, about the time it got daylight they showed up and wrote me a $500 ticket for being too close to the boundary. Lots of big bucks!

yes that's a great area to hunt, right in the heart of Alabama's reputable "Black belt"! It starts in the county just north of me, we live close to the Pea river so we have some very nice deer from the same genepool.
