Hello,
I wanted to pass along a pointer to a book I found, "Sniping in France, with notes on the Scientific Training of Scouts, Observers, and Snipers". It is an account of how British Sniping evolved during World War I, free on-line version.

I really enjoyed it. One thing I found interesting how the author emphasizes observational skills as much or more than shooting. I have read several "been there, done that" members here on the 'Hide say the same thing.
Regards,
Rick
