This is me at work, I'm a Feral Abatement contractor for various Conservation NGO's. My kit includes a Mil-Tec Tacvest in German Woodlands camo, it's amazing what you can fit into those - all my data collection gear, baits, traps, etc. and my Browning BL-22 LA.

Feral mean that the animal was from previously domesticated stock that got released and turned 'wild'. Pigs are a good example.

Our definition of "Feral" includes escaped domesticated and/or farmed animals, but also includes non indigenous wild animals that have become problematic.
Foxes and rabbits were released into the wild in the 19th century by misguided Englishmen for sport. Unfortunately they have flourished and with our native fauna never having to compete with or escape from the sort of populations that eventuated, the ferals have been quite destructive to our fragile landscape and native flora and fauna.
