hoppes bore snake

just wondering if wire brush on the snake can damage a barrel? I don't want to ruin the inside of the barrel. What's some of you experienced shooters advice?

No. Bore snakes are excellent for light routine maintenance...

There are a few ways to damage your barrel but bore snake is not one of them. I regularly use them for that "in-between" cleaning maintenance.
BTW, I just got turned on to KG12 Big Bore Cleaner and this stuff is awesome.

I use them on every firearm but my precision rifles. But, I am not anal about my weapons being operating room sterile.

As long as you don't drag them over the crown you're gtg.
