Hornady gone nuts

How about getting back on topic of Hornady?

Rather than just outright saying F them, try contacting them and letting them know if they continue down this road they will loose support of the people. Tell them they should stand up for the little man and file a damn lawsuit against the administration on their employees behalf, to protect their individual rights. If you don’t speak up to those who have the ability to make a difference our rights are lost.

Let’s start calling them daily, every chance you get. Email them daily, make it abundantly clear as a 2nd amendment related company you stand up for the people or you loose our business.

Just my 2 cents.

Um......you know there is no law requiring this?

Brandon can't just issue proclamations and there be forced compliance. Some agency in the executive has to make a determination and then take an enforceable action under existing public law.

And no agency has.
That is the part I don’t understand. If it’s not a law are companies just using it as an excuse because they don’t have the balls to say we are requiring this to work for us And using something that was just a suggested requirement.

Hornady doesn't give a fuck about the few people that would boycott them. Too many Fudd's and a government contract is their base. And like I said earlier. Those that say they will boycott may do so for a short time but in few weeks a large majority will be there buying Hornady zombie bullets again.

"Yet my wife who works for the Smithsonian, when not being banged by her friends mailman"
Well done sir, It was just hidden enough in the post to make me about fall out of my chair laughing.

Wonder where Sig is with all this shit?

Guessing with all their .gov contracts they are juicing their people as they work on the assembly line.

Beretta found out what happens when you go against the commie line.

The Gov of NH doesn't believe in their motto of "Live Free or Die" so doubt he will offer much help.

Have they disabled their email app?

Facing my own mandate Id like them to know they are part of the problem.

Imagine had we said "Fuck off!" loudly and in union back when it was just "Two weeks to flatten the curve".......

I think most people liked having the time off and were getting paid .....one week turned into two and then three and for some they are still on it.

Sooo what happens when the trucking industry is hit with these mandates? That's the one that I'm keeping an eye on. You think Hornady is going to be a problem when they can't even ship product out the door?

We already have a huge logistics problem at the ports. Couple that with outfits like Werner, Schneider, UPS, and additional drivers not taking the jab and you have an explosive formula.

Hornady doesn't really have a choice and neither will you if Australia is any indicator. In this country we are more concerned with sports than freedom. We'll reap the whirlwind.

What percentage of the trucking industry is owner operator? Is that why some places are trying to kill owner operators?

It will never happen in the trucking industry. Truckers do not work as government sub-contractors.

Oh . . . wait . . . nevermind.

Serious question. Vista Outdoors and Olin Corp. own 95+% of the primer manufacturing market in the US. These, unlike Hornady, are big corporations, publicly traded who answer to their shareholders. The likelihood of them pushing back against the proposed OSHA rule and other mandates is far less than Hornady. What is your plan here? Even small, "conservative" ammo companies rely on doing business with Olin and Vista. Should they boycott as well? If they don't?

I'd focus on their enforcement of the mandate. Of the larger companies I know, some are being very liberal with the religious exemption applications. Others are not.

This is really a how do you work within the confines of today without sacrificing tomorrow. At some point this will all come to a head (likely over states rights again) but until that time we need to fight with the pen before we get to the swords because when the swords come out there's no going back. If it's not a full commitment from all involved, we just end up with another 6 of Jan.

Btw, tyranny is against my religion.

Hi,

And the sad reality is the consumers of the industry will talk about they are going to boycott, yada yada yada but nothing of any substance will come to fruition. Consumers as a whole have a super short term memory and fluctuate as bad as Dem news cycles.

The same "outrage" has been done a dozen times to a dozen companies and guess what....NONE of them are on the "boycott" list any longer although they have not changed their take on anything.

Looking at you S&W, Glock, Benchmade, Daniel Defense, Ruger, NRA, etc etc

Sincerely,
Theis
The same can be said of people who claim they are going to quit their jobs if they are forced to get the vaccine or get tested weekly.

Goat

I used the contact form on the LE site.

Dear Hornady,

I am writing to inform you of my disappointment in your vaccine mandate. I stand with your workers in their right to make their own medical decisions.

I am currently under mandate pending review of my exemption on my strong moral objections to having anyone, other than the individual, direct their medical decisions. I particularly fear this trend as it will eventually be aimed at my children.

I am aware that the "reviewers" have been denying any requests for exemption and even if recognized as valid they will make no accommodations to allow continued employment.

November 4th will be my 17th year of service but I fully expect my exemption to be denied and rather than accept calibrated discipline I will formally request termination with charges and my violations of policy and procedure listed.

Though I don't work for you, the support of companies like yours would certainly help those of us concerned with Freedom. Freedom seems to be an ideal of derision these days favoring "mandate" to common sense actions we used to take to protect ourselves and others from illness.

I have worked the entirety of the Covid period, and despite being lauded for doing so, now, when we are told the virus is worse than ever, first responders and health care workers are being let go.

Your support for the mandate is a stand that will only ensure more stress and pain for your workers and also erode personal freedoms in our country.

I respectfully ask you reassess your stand and ask "Is it really worth it in the long run?"

Thank you for your consideration.

Pmclaine

I hope they print it out on scratchy paper so when they wipe their ass with it, it tears that fine annular skin.

Polio.

There is a Polio vaccine, and it has been out for many decades.

There is NOT a polio epidemic, and those who've received the vaccine are NOT spreading it. Nor (to my knowledge) are those who receive the vaccine, suffering or dying from "side-effects" or polio.

When this 'vaccine' works the same way, and/or is as effective and non-lethal as the polio vaccine, then and only then will I consider taking said vaccine. "My body, my choice" is actually a thing, right?

Right?

So say nothing and do nothing? That seems like a logical answer? So because the may not listen you would rather sit on your hands than at least have your voice heard? This is the logic and mentality why the left is winning the culture war and controlling our society. People keep saying there actions will have no affect so they do nothing and wonder why nothing changes.

I went to the contact link then scrolled to the employment tab in Grey, then I clicked the Human Resources link. It brings up a contact form to fill out. Not perfect but at least they hopefully get the message. I know several friends have done the same now. Get the word out to all your friends to do the same. Maybe, just maybe if people do something instead of nothing they might just hear us.

Im also gonna call them after lunch.

Hi,

Question...How many of you calling for boycott of Hornady actually drove your automobile to work today?

Oddly enough that nobody has mentioned the oil production companies requiring their workers to be vaccinated...

Sincerely,

So do nothing?

Every Company, contractor, individual that complies just legitimizes the mandate.

Why resist anything, lets just vote in the 3 trillion socialist bill, sink rthe container ships, welcome China ashore....

I dont care if someone buys a bullet comparator but express your displeasure.

Oil from the oil majors is mixed with everyone else's oil when making gas. I am pretty sure when I buy box of Horandy bullets, there are no Sierras or Bergers in there.

Hi,

So outrage for "forcing the jab for job" is applied differently to different industries?

Oil and Gas employs substantially more people than Hornady could ever imagine employing so by nature of numbers the O&G Industry is manipulating and toying with more people's livelihoods than Hornady could ever do; so if any industry worker needs assistance and have their employers pressured/boycotted it would be them, right?

If calls to boycott 1 "forcing the jab for job" industry then calls to boycott all of them should be the key.

Selecting the 1 that does not affect our necessities of day to day life is borderline hypocritical.

Sincerely,
Theis

again, most large company execs I have spoken to are fine with the proposed rule. Hell, more than fine. Of course, none are in the firearms world, so that could vary as the clientele of the average business is likely less outwardly annoyed. The assumption that beliefs about the vaccine on here being standard is a mistake in looking at the issue.

"Selecting one that effects our necessities." I believe this something commonly referred to as cutting off you nose to spite your face.

Not to mention the fact that their crude is mixed with others when making products. I don't by crude. We all literally by products every day made from oil. There is no way to know whose oil it was made with.

Oil majors like Exxon, Equinor, Occidental Petroleum and Shell have not announced any vaccine mandates. So that title should read less than 1/3 of oil majors mandate vaccine. Not mention oil makes a lot more than the gas for your car and the majors only control about 6% of the worlds oil reserves, and only about 1/3 of them have a mandate to get the shot.

So as a manufacturer, let's say that you have >100 employees, would you go along with sticking it to your employee's?

So as a manufacturer, let's say that you have >100 employees, would you go along with sticking it to your employee's?

Hi,

Well IF I had 100+ employees it would be rather easy from a financial perspective to split .gov contracts and consumer sells manufacturing into 2 different locations so that all those that VOLUNTARILY got the vaccine were put into the .gov contract facility and those that did not want the vaccine would be at the consumer sells manufacturing facility.

With that being said..it is way way easier to "split" a firearms manufacturing company/facility than it is to "split" an ammunition manufacturing company.

Also, with that being said...can anyone post the OFFICIAL mandate requirements?
Answer is pretty much no because unless I missed it the past 5 days it does not really exist.

Theis

That's a very well thought out answer, but what if you had so few employees that were willing to take the needle that you couldn't have enough to work the .gov contract side?

Spoken like a well oiled politician.
Really Theis. A HA HA is the best you got?

You misjudge my statement and avoided answering the question like a well oiled politician. I assure you that nothing funny was meant. I regard many .gov contractors, lobbyists, and the .gov bureaucrats as some of the biggest problems in the U.S. today. They are more interested in themselves and grabbing with both hands. Enough is never enough and if you are this type of individual, then I hold you in equal contempt.

Forcing employees to take a needle so that you can keep .gov contracts is immoral. Especially where there are alternative therapeutics out there.
