Ah...marketing at its finest!! It won't just be the barfcommers though...the net is full of zombie-hating, basement-dwellers that have nothing better to spend mommy and daddy's money on.

Not my interest, but the commercial is definitely good marketing. Anything that helps popularize shooting is good. Hornady gets my vote!

I hate teaser trailers! I agree with all the different views here. Zombies? no. Funny? Yes. Great marketing? Hell yes! For the novelty and fun factor its going to sell huge. IF the prices were normal, yes I'd buy some, because at least I'd be chuckling while buying ammo! But now we'll have to listen to people at the range braggin about "forget your hollowpoints, I got zombie ammo!"

Well in a world of pink ARs and sw lady smiths id have to say that's funny. Kudos to Hornady. Anything to sell ammo and keep the firearm industry alive.



As for the POS libs who are gonna spin it into the apocalypse of our youth I aim a well intended middle finger in your direction

Someone needs to do a spoof on the ammo. Starts out just as the Hornady video does with one or two more shooter with standard ammo. These two thre or however many shooters ammo will not kill the Zombies. Then the guy or guys come in with the Hornady zombie ammo. Show tyhem loading up a mag or something with zombie ammo. Then as they start to kill the zombies have the zombies start screaming he/they got zombie ammo and have them retreat from the fight. LOL

I think it's pure genius. There is a definite zombie craze going on right now. Comic books, t-shirts, the TV series, movies, etc, etc.

I don't blame Hornady at all for jumping on the bandwagon. I'm guessing the guy that thought of this marketing sensation just got promoted and/or a very large raise.

Have you guys seen a box in person?? It's hilarious!

There's a lot of tips and tricks for killing the undead on the back of the box. "Zombies will come after you flailing their arms! Stay focused!" hahaha.

In all honesty as mentioned previously, they gave it a corny name "Z-MAX" (ZOMBIE MAX?) ammunition which is actually just their V-MAX line with a green tip. Even at a full MSRP of nearly $30.00 per box of 20-rounds, gun shops can't keep this stuff on the shelves.
