Interesting, releasing a 338LM and coming standard with a 9 twist barrel. Seems like they are listening to their customers.

Good for Savage! The "other" manufacturers continue with the "donor action" marketing. Hard to believe.

I like the 338 LM long range hunter better.

I thought the 1-9 twist was interesteing too - then looked at their first 338 and found they were already there with it - see http://www.savagearms.com/firearms/model/110BA .

glad to see theyve gone with using ken farrel bases for some of the rifles. he's a great example of homegrown missura craftsmanship and excellent customer service.
got an older 10f in a plaster varmint topped with farrel rings and cant base, and she's definately a shooter.
have had nothing but awesome experience from savage products.

If they were really listening,They'd offer these models in Left Handed versions too.
