I am setting up my RIANOV Eagle and one of the datum I have to enter is the length of the bullet. I do not have a bullet puller and I would hate to pull apart a bullet I just paid $1.50 for anyhow. Does anyone know how long the 175 gr Sierra Match King bullet used in Federal Gold Metal ammo is?

Sierra does not say on their website, nor does federal say on theirs.

I just measured several of my 175 SMK's I keep on hand in bulk and the avg length is 1.232"

BTW, you ought to consider hand loading. I am headed out to shoot MY FGMM rounds that cost me only $0.60 each if I am using my own first fired brass. If I have to buy the brass it's about a buck but I then have brass I can reload at least a dozen times, even more with some.

    Thanks to all.

Dead shot of course you are correct. I am more or less set up to load .308. I have Whidden dies and pointing system. I have eight pounds of 4064. I have 500 Berger 175gr bullets. I bought a bunch of FGM 175 partly to have something to shoot and provide brass to start reloading. I have a upcoming event, and I do not have the time I need to develop and test a load, so I had to get another 10 boxes of FGM.
