    How much bearing surface in the neck is ideal?

    Photo also includes about 30gr varget for reference (yes, I cut the case empty first and then dropped powder).

    So, here’s what I’ve come up with.

    Boat tail junction just above the neck shoulder junction. Bearing surface in neck is ~ +/- .230

    BTO with hornady comparator is 1.770

    Think I’m gonna go with that, epoxy a few in and send to smith for chamber.
