"howage" barrels

Has anyone have any experience with this company? I like the design, especially the Diamond fluting option, the price is killer, and i like the idea of not having to pay a gunsmith to do everything for me. Looking at doing a 24" 1:10 twist for my 1500 in 300wm, but any experiences with them is appreciated. Thanks.

I just installed my barrel from them, haven't shot it yet. So far the ease of installation has been great, support from them has been great and quality is fantastic. Ill let you know how it shoots soon.

Im looking at that company as well. Just not sure about which action wrench to get? I guess the ones for Mausers can be made to work with a Howa?

Has anyone on here used a Preferred barrel blanks barrel on there rifle if so how did it shoot I'm looking gnat picking up a shouldered pre fit from them in the near future but cant seem to find any reviews on them.

Depends on how far forward the stock has been bedded. Any bedding material forward of the front receiver face will need to be removed, which isn’t hard to do.

Mine have fit in the original inlet for a Remington varmint barrel, on my remingtons. You might have to sand or remove some material, but the barrel nut is usually not a lot bigger than the shouldered portion of a barrel.
