Huber losing popularity?

I have four. None for sale. I may be ignorant, but I can not duplicate any of the complaints I have read online on any of mine. Again, I may be the dumbest shooter on the hide, or perhaps the luckiest, but mine seem to work exactly as they are supposed to. Every time in every condition I've shot in, with no babying. (ok, no abuse either)

There are some members here who have a real problem with them. I don't have enough knowledge of those members to access the reliability of their complaints.

The only caution that I know of is that you want to be kinda easy installing the trigger pins. If you hammer them in like you are driving fence posts you can bend in the sides of the trigger and cause problems.

I think Huber's were and are still a great trigger but with so many companies coming out with excellent adjustable triggers at a fantastic price point many people are questioning why not give them a try.

They aren’t trendy/the new most popular.

I bought a used 2-Stage a few weeks ago out of the exchange. They have one of my favorite 2-stage triggers that will fit in a trigger hanger.

I’m not a fan of the first stage feel. Always bugged me. Their customer service is good. John talked me through an adjustment procedure once, which solved one issue and created another. Mine really needs to go back so they can base line it. Expect to see it on the for sale section. Been sitting in a bin on my bench for 3 years or so.

I like the Geissele 2 stage better.

I see no reason to buy a trigger that can't be adjusted by the end user.

With all the great triggers available now with built in user adjustability, a manufacturer would be silly to leave that feature out if they want to compete.

The trigger is arguably the single most important interface between the shooter and the rifle. And it's very important to be able to adjust that trigger to optimize that interface between shooter and rifle.

I keep thinking about trying something else but I have 4 Huber’s with countless rounds between them with zero issues. Not saying they are the greatest but they certainly aren’t bad. Anytime I have needed them adjusted it has been painless to send them back with a quick turnaround time.

I had one on a REM 700 build and it started out good then the trigger failed. It would fire if you just touched the bolt. To Huber's credit they did fix it i think as I sold it soon as it returned traded the rest of the REM 700 and now I shot mostly AI'S
