My dad had a slightly different version and he told me this when I was 3 or 4 years old. I has stuck with me through thick and thin ever since. His version was 'the only thing a man has in life is his word'. I don't lie. I caution folks to not ask the question if they don't want to hear the answer. If you ask me the question I will always answer truthful. Just make sure you ask the correct question.
Reminds me of a Joe Jackson song. Oh well.

What if I'm rubbin it all over her and some gets on me? Can I leave it on if it smells nice? Do I have to shower before proceeding?
    Can I borrow it later?
Cover it up with Old Spice?

BTW, coconut oil (from the baking section) doesn't have a smell. The taste is neutral and it's totally edible...
    Yes and true

Here is my theory in life, flawed as it may be.

Live cheaply, if you can afford a $500,000 house and there are $250,000 (or whatever that number is for you) houses in reasonable neighborhoods buy the cheaper one, and invest the rest or enjoy life on the rest. Don't buy a new truck or van or whatever it is. Live as cheaply as you can and have some money on the side.

Invest in your family, if you have young children the schools are a dictatorship of liberal group think, try to find a way to afford to home school them or get them into a good Christian school if available. For some this is not a financial possibility. We are doing it, it sucks but it is worth it.

Covid has hit everyone in the world, some in worse ways than others. I know people that have lost half a dozen family members, and I know people that didn't get to go sheep hunting in British Columbia. Realize that you can't control everything anymore, and you probably never could. Do the things you enjoy locally, and take road trips.

Take care of your health, get off sugar and booze and processed foods and learn to cook.

Forgive people you don't know for being a different political group than you, but be smart enough to know you can't trust them.

If you're not married yet, then my advice is to not get married. It's a wonderful life being able to spend all of my income on me. If you knock a girl up, still don't get married. Child support is cheaper. I have a spread sheet that details this out.

If you're married and have kids:

    1. Work hard
    2. Set a good example
    3. Spend time with your family
    4. Encourage activities that require critical thinking
    5. Harp on reading comprehension and the importance of words
    6. Don't be a skinny jeans wearing, scented lotion using, man bun having commie
Just because one wears form-fitting jeans and uses assorted moisturizers does not mean they are automatically commie.

I know a guy like this that I took to shooting range, he dressed very oddly between punk and antifa style. After talking to him I noticed he was definitely not one of those. He has since changed his clothing to regular. But it is still a good generalization!

I used to think like that. Long beard, lots of flannel, baseball hats and loose jeans... Then I made I my first real female friend and she convinced me to change my ways.

Cologne, form fitting clothing, moisturizers, beard oil and teeth whitening kits.. the whole package. Even got myself one of those "undercut" hairstyles. Shit... I got a manicure and pedicure once too. But just once.

Did I look a European homosexual? Yes. Yes I did. (Married now and back to square one)

Did friends and family make fun of me? Absolutely. Especially my dad. He would tell people about my boyfriend that didn't exist. Several of his neighbors actually thought I was gay. Some probably still do.

But the results don't lie... you'll get twice as much booty from the ladies. Sure, dudes will try to dance up on you from time to time, but if you give them the "I'm not gay- back the fuck off" death stare they'll scurry away. It's absolutely worth it.

And if you're old and dress like a fag, even better. It'll open up your world to mid 20's girls with minor to moderate daddy issues that aren't ready to jump right into the old man game.

Don't knock it 'til you try it.

I'll second the don't buy new cars or trucks. Haven't bought new since 1985, pay cash not interest unless a mortgage (pay it off as fast as possible). Anything else if you can't pay cash don't buy it. Teach your kids this by watching you.

Psh. I use money to accomplish the same thing.

So looking like a fag, and having money are the two keys to staying stocked up on pussy. If I ever go broke, I'll dress like a fag because I need my poontang!!

Oh hell yeah. Money works better than anything else, hands down.

I don't feed pigeons though, so if I ever find myself single again I'll be the guy in the v cut shirt and tight ass pants with ample ankle cleavage... or whatever the style is at that point.

I’m waiting for some Italian kid to come knocking on my door one day.
I'm hoping, I'm GtG now. I've been married for damn near 30 years now, so, those seeds should be old enough now, to not GAS anymore, and I've been to a few countries, also. I hope.........Mac

    Hi,

Here is my opinion/advice for the OP situation and question.

We conservatives for years and years, decades and decades have been focused on the top of the food chain in Politics while forgetting the small crumbs. We have always operated with philosophy that the head controls everything else.

All the while the Dems have focused on playing the long long game of piling my crumbs and more crumbs up until the point the crumbs control and make up the pizza instead of the pepperoni sitting at top of pizza.

We conservatives must adopt the new philosophy of not being much concern with whom the talking head is and focus LOCAL.
Street, Community, Town, County, then State....
Align yourself and your family in that mindset. Move your family to a street, community, town, county that does align with your beliefs and stop paying taxes living in an area that doesn't abide by your beliefs.
If we all stop focusing on talking heads and focused all our energy to our own streets; we would be unstoppable.

    Sincerely,
    Theis

i feel like i would fail my kids if i didnt find some positive way to influence this world and im at a loss and when i go anywhere else online or talk to anyone else in person all im hearing is well wait and see and i dont know......im just trying to be productive.....what better place than here. what better time than now?
In aall honesty, just live your life. Make choices in life as they come up, and own them. Strive to always learn from mistakes. Keep improving on yourself. The rest will eventually fall in place.
Now, that isnt to say that crappy things aren't going to happen. Because they will. Life is notall rainbows and sunshine. Never has been, never will be, and shouldn't be. Life is about balance. It is ups and downs. It is what we learn from opportunities, challenges, obstacles, falls, blessings, and catastrophes that means everything.
Want to make a positive impact onthe world? Followyour dreams and remember that every thing on this planet has a purpose, even if it is not publicly recognized in all the news outlets. Small dogs are just as important as the ones the whole world knows the names of for without them, the whole thing falls.
Just keep moving forward. If you fall, get up.
And remember, people often do not see the impact of how they effect others until way way after, if they see it at all.
If you impact even just one person in a waythat helps them, then you have done a good job. That person you inspired may be the one to do something we perceive as grand (aka news worthy coverage). Or, they spread the inspiration to others. This is how good can spread. Over time, and by inspiring others while you simply live your life the best you can. Can we really ask for more?

"Living in sin" is far better than marriage.
If you want to know what marriage is like, find someone you hate, and give them half your house.

Leave your heart open to love again.
You may not know what you want, but at least you will know what you don't want.

@clcustom1911 - yeah, but I gotta bust balls and am sure you can enjoy a little fun without reporting me for being mean.
Ball bustin is nearly a corporate sponsored recreational activity in my workplace. If you can't handle some ribbing you'll find yourself bounced around from team to team, etc.

As a younger male trying to raise a family in this "modern" world that i so strongly dont agree with or fit into....

looking for guidance as to what to do with our growing concerns with staying right with God....raising a family....and securing freedom for our futures

I dont have family or friends really so I thought this might be a good way to stay positive and productive towards a better future....

what can be done to improve things?

im not looking for stress inducing conspiracy or political garbage but real conversation of guidance
    @jamess

    1) Never go to the Biker Bar (aka Bear Pit) without expecting a rough go.
    2) Find yourself a group of like minded people. It can be tough these days--I feel it and feel alone in a city of 5 million.
    3) Don't forget to take care of yourself. Everyone craps on the alpha male and masculinity. Its only 4 billion years of biology that built us this way. Don't forget papa bear gets the big piece of chicken.
    4) Local--start with your school, or even Sunday School. I was a overweight fat man reading bible stories to 5 year olds--parents thought I was weird, but I loved it and so did the kids. And they knew their stories cause we had a good time doing it. Find your thing and make that small impact. I loved reading stories to my kids, so I just took that as they got older and spread the joy.
    5) Stay right with God. As a fellow Christian--this probably should have been first, but even I don't dare poke the bear pit. If you do that, the rest will fall in place. Have Faith.
6)Don't eat the yellow snow. (Learn to laugh--somedays its all we have as we sit there in jail going "she didn't look like no cop")
