Rifle Scopes Huskemaw

Re: Huskemaw

for the money CRAP/SHIT? spend your money on something like a nxs or uso instead.

I have looked through them and I wouldn't pay $500 for one. they have .3moa clicks which is basically mil turrets labeled in moa. no thanks

Re: Huskemaw

Finnwerk.......every now and then someone comes up with a way to sell ammo, scopes and guns.......their own magical formula that will allow you to hit distant small objects with no practice.
Look at http://www.greybullprecision.com/ Similar thing...
check out the videos....hitting coyote at 800 yds if I remember right. Pretty wild. people do it all the time but they have paid their dues with some serious trigger time.

Re: Huskemaw

I think 300 yards will surprized most people when it come to LR shooting. I 'm not saying 300 yards is far But most people will be surprized when shooting at game at 300 yards. I've seen a lot of them thinks its 400 to 500 yards. My .02 cents says when LR hunters are surprized when 800 yards are made, that means they thoughted they were not capble and problary not repeatable shooting. I know there's that 2 per cent that could make 800 plus shots and are repeatable.

Re: Huskemaw

Guys. I have a friend who owns one of their systems. 7mm mag, 140 gr. Bergers, scope is calibrated to his ammo and the platform shoots! I was a skeptic. However, after seeing his 1000 yard group, I was impressed. His shots were good, BDC was within 3/4 moa. Glass is European clear, clicks are positive, Life is good! Now this guy shoots and has a desire to become better. Not a pull it oughta da box, now lets go huntin wid my new "cant miss" gun type. I think I'd refrain from the negative conotations for now. Personally,I am a nightforce and S&B owner, my opinion, Huskemaw is pretty good stuff, trade my stuff for one....don't think so. Just my opinion.

I'm actually glad to hear it works pretty well. I hate to think of people getting totally ripped off. I suspect the greybull system may be better than Huskemaw.

Re: Huskemaw

I was at a hunting show in dallas.

I stopped by the Huskemaw and were just in time to here with my own ears not here say.

The guy running the booth was saying that Huskemaw & Night Force were being made by the same company .

An if thats true they have a lot different spec's than NF I dont like NF but I dont have them on the p.o.s list. Huskemaw is at the top of that list .

Just food for thought.

Re: Huskemaw

I was just at a Sportsman's Show here in town and talked to the guys at Huskemaw. They also told me that Huskemaw was made by NF. I was able to look through the scope, but with very limited space indoors. They told me to come back and take a look during the day so we could go outside. I wasn't too impressed with the reticle as the "range finder" was built into the windage versus elevation. To use it to judge, say deer sized game, you would basically have to turn the scope sideways. I also told them that I didn't like the idea of having someone else do all the work for me, but they explained how to set it up the then have Huskemaw make the turrets based off of my info. The turrets felt nice and strong and "tight" on the one that I looked at, but I still don't know if I'm sold.

Just my .02
