Just moving workshop about and upgrading the compressor ,
being using the small hvlp guns for coating conected to the compressor but just read an article that says a turbine unit would give better results and less waste ?
any one here using one professionally ?

Re: hvlp set up ?

You are asking about a rotary compressor if I read this right. They make huge volumes of air fast, most have dryers built in, they are very quiet, last 20k plus hours and take up little space. They are also quite expensive and usually 3 phase. If you look in any big cabinet or manufacturing shop....that is likely what you will find.

Re: hvlp set up ?

its not a screw type compressor, its does not have a tank more like a reverse vacuum cleaner, high volume low pressure, googled it this morning and a small unit can be had for $300
looks neat and very small not very loud either,
